INGERSOLL RAND SSR 2000 1750 CFM 400HP ROTARY AIR COMPRESSOR. Great for Cement plant, quarry or large manufacturing plant. This unit is in it's work clothes but is in good condition and currently in operation. This unit came from a government facility that is being closed down and is not being sold due to some problem with the unit.
This is a HIGH VOLTAGE 4160 Volt unit which will cost less to operate and allow you to use smaller wire. FYI: 4160 Volt is power that 99.0% of all power companies can provide. Most transmission lines where 3 phase is available is 13,200 volt on the pole. The power company will use a transformer to bust down the power to 4160 volt instead of 480 volt. The reason most large companies use high voltage is because is cost less and you can run smaller wire to equipment. The controls on this compressor are 110v..
