Blade Tension: Hydraulically controlled. Machine stops if blade breaks.
Speed Range: 55-400 (17 to 122 m/min) blade feet per minute, infinitely variable, electrically controlled, with electric digital readout.
Feed: Exclusive combination of: (1) pressure feed; (2) traverse control, varies maximum speed at which head moves downward; (3) hydraulic compensator, virtually eliminates variations in feed caused by changing gravity force
Blade can be stopped, with all other power functions operative.

Controls: IEC fused disconnect switch and magnetic motor starters, with overload and low-voltage protection. Transformer provides low voltage control (120 volts) to all push buttons at operator’s control panel and machine lighting circuits.
Programmable Logic Controller (P.L.C.) mounted in moisture proof NEMA 12 compartment.
