For sale is a lot of 4 polyester filter bags. These are rated at 25 microns (nominal). They have a special Ronnigen-Petter steel ring attached to the top of the bag. (These are not compatable with the filter head adapters that we sell which are 7 inches in diameter!) They have a glazed finish to reduce fiber contamination in the filtered solution. Bags are approximately 29 inches long & 8.25 inches in diameter & can be attached with a fastener or clamp directly to a pipe or used in a Ronningen-Petter filter bag housing (Please check to make sure these will fit as this manufacturer has several different sizes!). Polyester is fairly good with a maximum heat of 180-200 degrees F but is generally not as chemical resistant as polypropylene. These are excellent bags for filtering water solutions or waste vegetable oil (WVO) to make biodiesel. I have a limited supply of these purchased from a company with surplus. When they're gone, they're gone!
