It is a totally new product owned by DynaPowernamics Inc.® and is just hitting the market as of lately. The new Doo-Bee Stop™ is a material stop that mounts on a milling machines vise jaws. These were made for the professional machinist/hobbyist and machine operator OR MODEL BUILDERS. This NEW tool not only has a much more reliable double bolt non-slip clamping pressure, for your production runs, insuring your production is ran perfect. It also has a WHOPPING clamping rang of .250 - 1.000 (1/4" - 1"inch) so one Doo-Bee Stop™ will fit any size vise jaw you will ever have, small or large. But the most important feature is the ability to hold a part as thin as .160 (5/32"inch) leaving the professional machinist with NO extra tooling that needs to be made and comes in really handy on those small thin parts that pop up on your production shelf.
Also, at the same time, it is increasing your production standards or shop efficiency, saving you time and money, if you are in a production environment. It is also a great tool for just about anybody including the hobbyists or week end metal heads…;-)
The single mounted Doo-Bee Stopâ„¢ can hold two parts on each side at the same time with a length of 1.500 that makes for a perfect part to part cooling distance for your cutters, saving you wear and tear on your cutters, at the same time doubling your production. Or you can double mount two Doo-Bee Stopsâ„¢ on your vise jaws to run FOUR PARTS AT ONE TIME as you will see in these photos.
It is spring-loaded for easy installation and removal and is made of carbon steel (not hardened), which can save your tooling in a crash. It is always better to run into a machinable material stop than a hardened one (my opinion) that can fry your expensive tooling in a matter of seconds. It also has a non-rust black oxide finish that can hold up to the rough of coolants.
This photo demonstrates the Doo-Bee Stop™ held at its smallest clamping position. As you see it is really a little smaller then .250 but DynaPowernamics Inc.® will claim an average of .250 minimum clamping range. This small range comes in really handy when you want to use the Doo-Bee Stop™ on small 3" inch air vises in a production run where the vise jaws are very thin in size.
This photo shows the side view of the Doo-Bee Stopâ„¢ at its wide open range. As you can see it is an easy 1.000 inch so you will have no problem installing this NEW PRODUCT on the beefiest of vise jaws. Works great also on those older machines that have a much larger vise jaw sizes. Also, you can see the material holding area that is just a little larger then .125 or 1/8" inch and it is claimed at .160 or 5/32" of an inch. I know of no others material stop on the market that is as heavy-duty having this small of part rage on the market today. I challenge anybody to find one if you can.

These two photos show how a machinist would use either one Doo-Bee Stopâ„¢ to run two parts at the same time. OR mount TWO Doo-Bee Stopsâ„¢ to run at WARP SPEED of four parts at the same time, mounted on an average 6" inch vise jaws. The flat face construction allows easy cleaning off of chips and faster loading of the parts. These parts being ran in the photos above are .250 (1/4"inch) thick on the single mounted Doo-Bee Stopâ„¢, two parts at same time. On the double mounted Doo-Bee Stopâ„¢ running FOUR .375 (3/8"inch) thick parts at the same time, as you can see there is a lot more room to work with as far as running thinner parts without making any costly custom tooling, you have it all here ready to roll. Unlike other products on the market, there is no bulky bolt head or threads sticking in your way here with the NEW Doo-Bee Stopâ„¢ . It is completely adjustable at the front side with a clamping range of .250 (1/4"inch) to 1.00 (1"inch) one size fits all. It is recommended that you at least have a minimum of .062 or 1/16" of an inch vise jaw protrusion to clamp onto, but for best results use .125 (1/8"inch) of an inch vise jaw protrusion.
