Highlites ZBLED series of cast aluminum exit signs utilizes a unique indirect illumination design.The ultra slim housing and aluminum stencil are constructed of heavy die cast aluminum. These have an all white exit stencil.
Normally the exit sign operates from standard utility power. Should a power failure occur, a solid-state switch connects the LED lamps to the battery, providing continuous, uninterrupted operation. Upon return of utility power, the battery is disconnected and normal operation continues.
A solid-state temperature compensating, variable float charger automatically recharges the battery to full charge within 12 hours after a full 90 minute discharge.
