Set of six ZM1050 Pixie Nixie Tubes New in boxes!!
Up for sale, six very rare VALVO ZM1050 / Z550M nixie tubes, also known as PIXIE tubes. These are top viewing tubes which light a neon glow on one of ten plates behind a numeric aperture mask. These are in high demand for stylish and unsual nixie clock designs. Simply awesome!!!
These tubes perform well in a multiplexed design. The lit numeral is selected by 5V, and remains lit. Dipping or switching the supply voltage, as used in a multiplxed clock design, will extinguish the lit numeral.
Supplied with datasheet and additional information. These tubes are new in boxes, not used and supplied with ceramic sockets. They are all fully tested and working, each segment lights up nicely. To get the most out of this display a microcontroller is best used, though it is possible to get interesting outputs using logic alone.
