THE CITY OF DEARBORN IS RELEASED OF ALL LIABILITY FOR ANY AND ALL DEFECTS. The Purchaser fully acknowledges and agrees that the Purchaser shall defend, indemnify and hold harmless the City of Dearborn, its employees, and agents against:
1) any damages, loss, theft, or destruction of any item(s) or contents of any item(s); and,
NO CASH, PERSONAL CHECKS, OUT-OF-STATE OR FOREIGN CHECKS WILL BE ACCEPTED.
TAX EXEMPTION: 6% sales tax will be charged, unless you are exempt from sales tax, in which case you must provide the City of Dearborn with an official copy of your sales tax license or tax exempt certificate.
All items will be removed at the risk and expense of the purchaser. The purchaser agrees to provide all labor, materials, and equipment necessary for the removal of all purchased item(s) from the building without assistance from City staff. The purchaser is also responsible for restoring the premises to a satisfactory condition, if necessary. The City of Dearborn retains the sole right to judge what is considered to be satisfactory condition of the premises. If the Purchaser shall cause the City of Dearborn to incur ANY expense in restoring the premises to a satisfactory condition in the event of the Purchaser’s default on this obligation, the purchaser will be held solely responsible and liable for these expenses. Mailing/delivery service will not be provided.
