Phos/Copper and Silver/Phos/Copper Brazing Filler Metals
For joining copper to copper, copper to brass, and brass to brass, NOT recommended for brazing steel or nickel alloys. "Self-fluxing" and fluidity properties of these phosphorus alloys improve as silver content increases.
Stay-Silv 15 is used for Air Conditioning/Refrigeration Industry Standard, 15% silver alloy has proven value. Excellent where close fit-up does not exist, and where agitation and vibration in service are involved.
