We have done cross comparisons of the wavelength measurements of this analyzer with our calibrated TQ8325 wavelength meters at 633 nm, 975 nm, 1310 nm and 1550nm. Readings for various stabilized light sources up to 1550 nm were well within the range of wavelength accuracy of 0.5 nm indicated in the manual. The instrument resolution at these laser lines was also well within the 0.1 nm instrument specification.

This optical spectrum analyzer is used not only for spetrum measurement of a light source such as LD and LED but also for loss wavelenght characteristics and transmission characteristics of the optical fiber and optical filter.
Wavelenghth measurement covers a wide range of 400 to 1750 nm to enable optical spectrum analysis for the region from visible to infrared rays. In addition to such basic capabilities as high-speed sweep, high sensitivity -85dB, high accuracy, wide dynamic range, and excellent linearity, this analyzer is provided with a number functions including 3-dimentional display, many types of data processing and programing.
Data output is available in hard copy of screen by built-in high speed printer, waveform plot by the external X-Y plotter, as well as read/write of the waveform and program by the build-in floppy disk.
This analyzer is also equipped with GP-IB as standard specification to enable full remote control.
