Rockwell delta 46-525 variable speed 12" wood lathe
Rockwell Delta Model 46-525 variable speed gap bed wood lathe in very good condition. 12" swing over bed; 16" swing over gap. Bed measures 44" long from gap. This is a true variable speed lathe-no changing belts on step pulleys; the lever on the front adjusts speed over the entire range through a reeves drive. These machines came with the step pulley in the headstock (pictured), because they were also available in a four speed version and they just put the same pulley on all of them. Newer 110/230 volt 1hp GE motor (currently wired for 110) was installed by previous owner along with new belts, and headstock bearings were inspected and repacked with grease. As pictured, index pin and indexing holes in pulley are all in good shape and functional. Tailstock is functional, but plastic wheel is cracked and glued. There is no toolrest included. Owner's manual is included. Bed is in great shape.
