Fits all tractors with a Category 1 Hitch (22-49hp), but recommended for use only on tractors of 25hp or above for best performance due to it's size and weight of the flywheel. 550 RPM PTO input speed, 1220 RPM flywheel rotation speed. Comes new in the crate as pictured, and requires some assembly (takes most people about an hour or two). Cat 2 pins can be easily fitted if you want to place the chipper on tractors larger than 49hp.
This is not your average Troy-Bilt tin can, this chipper is built for the long haul. Weighing in at 950lbs, and built with very heavy gauge steel throughout, having a massive solid IRON 24" flywheel with double, reversable blades, and five drive belts ( Yes, 5! ), it's more than able to make short work of that mountain of oak limbs or whatever else thats been piled along your back fence, which your wife "kindly" reminds you about almost daily as you try to sip your coffee and peacefully watch the morning sunrise.
The chipper also features a strong power feed system with neutral position, and a large feed chute to help funnel leaves and those unwieldy twigs. The chute can be positioned to eject the chippings to either side.
These chippers come in a very nice looking J*hn D*ere green/yellow rust resistant powder coat finish.
