You are looking at a Schlage Dead latch for the F series of knob and lever door hardware.
The the backset is 2 3/4". The faceplate is 1 1/8", square top and is UL Rated.
The backset on the Drive-In type is 2 3/8", 1" circular & hsg. and is UL rated.
There are 5 Dead Latches...Finishes are.....2 only 605 (Bright brass)
The choice is yours as to finish and type you want.
