The MILEX case was designed to be a water- and dust-resistant, shock- and vibration-absorbing transit case for 11 RU (Standard Rack Units) 19" electronics. MILEX transit cases are U.S. Military approved.
Light weight, strong aluminum construction, weighs in at only 66.5 lbs! With the table/case stand in lid weight is 71 lbs.
The case stand is stored in one of the lids, it is easy to assemble . This stand helps get your equipment off the ground and up to a better working height.
Both ends have removable covers using a star knob closure. There are threaded places on both sides of the case where the ends can attach so they are not damaged while the case is open.
They're ideal for: portable networks, sensitive laboratory and medical equipment, cameras, video decks and just about anything you need to protect from the elements and the evil baggage handlers of the world.
Exterior ribs provide for easy stacking.
This case has been used and has some scuffs/scratches - but otherwise is in very good condition and is fully usable.
