The improvement come in the form of electroplated diamond core, this prevents the blade from binding. Another big improvement is the diamond grit that we offers for this product is larger and more aggressive than the original 30 - 40 grit. Originally designed for use on ductile iron, this popular electroplated blade has large grit exposed diamond to help it cut through some of the most demanding and hard to cut materials.
