Offset models in three blade patterns keep user's hand above material being cut and flow material away from blades for ease of cut. They have the capacity of cutting 18 ga. cold-rolled sheet metal and 22 ga. stainless steel sheet metal.
"What makes these snips better than wiss or lenox snips?? ..I admit wiss are made cheap these days, I've broken 5 pairs this year alone until I switched to lenox and had no problems since(and lenox were better priced) c'mon, sell me on your snips..."
I won't say anything good about Wiss, and Lenox is only a little better. From what I know Lenox is made in China by Irwin/American Tool. The top of the Lenox snips are stamped and the bottom is forged steel. The best snips, like the Midwest offset snips are full forged steel as opposed to stamped. At the end of the day you may think the Wiss, Lenox, or Klink snips are the best for you. I think the Midwest Snips are best because they are forged both top and bottom, and made with care and quality in America.
