The listing price of this ad ($38,500) is for the mill and controller only. However, the owner also has a lot of tooling for the mill, including a 42 x 24" aluminum riser that is 6 1/2" high with mounting holes to allow for shorter tooling, for which the owner paid $5400.00. There are also 25 tooling holders for the machine. These include 16 straight-shank holders, 6 collet holders, and 3 cutting-wheel holders. Even the most basic tooling packages for this mill cost around $25,000.00. The owner wants an additional $3,500 for the riser, additional tooling, and manuals. If you would like to purchase the mill and the tooling, we can either make another ad just for the tooling or relist this ad to include the mill, manuals, and tooling.
The current owner, Joel Schmitt of Schmitty's Welding, is the second owner of the machine. The first owner used this mill for only 2 8-hour shifts per week to mill aluminum only, and it has been well maintained for its entire life. All manuals for the mill as well as the programming manuals for the Mitsubishi controller are included. The fact that this high-volume mill has only 4761 machine hours (9906 total run hours) with most of that restricted to aluminum, combined with the price of this mill, makes it truly an exceptional value!
