LUBRICATION ENGINEERS 703 MONOLEC GEAR LUBRICANT
80W-90 EP gear oil for differentials, transmissions and industrial applications. 703 is a multi-viscosity extreme pressure (EP) gear oil made from select paraffinic base stocks and blended with exceptional additives to achieve proper balance between maintaining high load-carrying ability while providing excellent lubricity and film strength. It contains MONOLEC, LE’s exclusive wear reducing additive.
The impressive features of this product give the user many performance benefits: longer gear life with less maintenance expense, fewer hours of lost production, extended drain intervals with less make-up between drains, and the versatility of one product that can deliver exceptional performance in almost all types of gearboxes. The powerful additive package provides maximum rust, corrosion and oxidation resistance. This plus MONOLEC and the base oil's natural resistance to oxidation combat the factors that cause oxidation and sludge deposits, thus giving longer effective lubricant life. A potent anti-foam agent keeps operating temperatures low by breaking up entrapped air bubbles as they form.
Use in all differentials and transmission (except those requiring pure mineral oil) in over-the-road and stop-and-go fleets, as well as off-highway equipment. It can be used in Rockwell axles, Eaton axles, and limited slip differentials. Approved for use in units calling for Mack GO-H Thermally Stable Gear Oils. This product is to be used in all heavily loaded industrial enclosed gears and in worm gearboxes and in any gearboxes that have bronze gears, thrust washers, or other parts that require an extreme pressure gear oil. 703 is not to be used as automatic transmission, hydraulic or semi-automatic transmission oils or in common-sump systems which use combination gear-hydraulic oil, hydraulic oil or a power steering fluid.
