· Conbraco 29 series is ideally suited for OEM applications where compact size, dependable performance and maximum economy are required. These rugged safety valves feature a top guided design and patented “soft seat†for dramatically reduced seat leakage, a common concern of those using valves with metal to metal seating. Flow ratings are National Board certified in accordance with ASME Sections I and VIII.
· Applications: Small to medium sized steam power boilers, sterilizers and distillers, air compessors and receivers, pressure vessels and pressure piping systems.
o Pfa Teflon fluorocarbon seat resists corrosive boiler chemicals
o Rust proofed steel stem and spring washers
o Lower control ring permits blowdown adjustment
o Tapped body drain allows piping of condensate away from equipment
o Reduced repair costs; soft seat easily replaced
o Valve number : 29-503-30 (same as 29-402)
o ASME section 1 power boiler code, lbs/hr steam at 3% or 2 psi accumulation
