Injection Molding is a process used commercially to make thousands of identical plastic parts, quickly and automatically, by using tons of hydraulic pressure to force molten plastic into a steel mold. Each mold might have several cavities in which the plastic parts are formed. A typical large volume automatic injection molding machine is bigger than a car, and uses molds costing upwards of $20,000 each! But now you can make your own usable machine.
