It works great for making straight, square cuts in sheet metal FAST and EASY. This shear is great for almost anybody that needs a shear, such as sign shops, race car shops or light industrail use.This shear requires 2 people to operate. You need 1 person on each side of the shear to pull the handle and lower the top blade so it will cut.
1. Cuts mild steel up to 16 gauge=.063"=1.57MM
2. Cuts soft aluminum up to 14 gauge=.078"=1.98MM
3. Cuts stainless steel up to 22 gauge=.031"=.79MM
7. Lower Blade has 4 cutting edges.
8. Upper Blade has 2 cutting edges.
9. High Chrome Blades that can be sharpend.
10. Adjustable finger guard.
