Really nice lathe or milling machine fitting / accessory. I bought this at an estate sale but was unable to find out what its specific use is. It was resting on a lathe, which was next to a milling machine. It does not have any manufacturing or part number information on it that I can find. Do you know what this does or the specific machines it works with? Made of heavy steel with an adjustable aluminum block on the bottom attached to the shaft by means of an "eye" bolt that is apparently used to adjust and secure it to the machine it is used with.
