MAX232 RS232 ttl convertor/adapter kit for avr/pic/gps

RS232 to TTL Signal Converter Kit
This Converter is designed to be used by plug into a breadboard directly or by flier wires connect to your target board.
The small RS232 Converter provides Rx/Tx pins and 2 control pins for either DSR/DTR or CTS/RTS handshake signals. The handshaking options (Jumper configurable) can be configured as a null modem with no handshaking (4-wire), or with DSR/DTR handshaking or with CTS/RTS handshaking (6-wire).
It has a standard DB9 female RS232 connector and can be connected to a standard PC COM port or any other terminal with a straight thru extension cable. The 6-pin header connects to any micro controller board that requires serial I/O. The micro controller board provides operating voltage (5 volts) to the adapter.
This module works with Microchip PICs, Basic Stamps, Atoms, and any other microchip and microcontroller and anywhere you need TTL to communicate via RS232.
It can be used as a bootloader interface, with a support of a bootloader chip then you can program the microcontroller in-circuit program, such as PIC using the C6, C7 hardware serial port. Can use it for bootloading with handshaking signle.
1. Null modem (handshake loopback) 1-2 and 5-6
2. CTS/RTS handshake 2-4 and 1-3
3. DTR/DSR handshake 3-5 and 4-6
