This is an improved version of the famous Tek 067-0645-02 standard extender cable. There are a number of improvements:
* Power-On LED flashes when the main +11.5 VDC line is on. This safety feature will prevent the operator from connecting to a plug-in while the line is live. This will avoid contact arcing of the connector and possible transient damage to the plug-in circuit ic's and transistors.
* 18 gauge wire for all power supply and transistor lines. Larger diameter wire avoids the excessive voltage drop that smaller wires would cause, and the larger wire will carry the full supply output current without damage, if the plug-in were to have a short or excess current in the plug-in circuitry.
* Longer length cable, 32 inches end to end, for a more versatile setup at your tech area.
* Each cable is closely inspected, and electronically examined on our electronic cable testing fixture. Each cable is thoroughly tested for loop continuity and leakage between adjacent conductors while the ends are "flexed". We go the extra mile to provide you with the best service possible.
