This manual covers maintenance, servicing, calibration, checkout and etceteras of the Tektronix 464 Oscilloscope. Also included are manuals for the DM44, DM43, and DM40 (DM43/DM40 are covered in the same document) Digital Multimeter accessories often found with the 464. They are all scanned from the original manufacturer's manuals. The scans came out well, and all information available in the original manuals is available here. There is also a small chapter on operation in each.
Two PDFs of the 464 manual are provided, in two resolutions. One is:

The other 464 PDF, as well as the DM44/DM43/DM40 material, is done in resolutions that vary depending on individual page content, but are never higher than needed to produce a useable quality, quickly navigable file that will do the job without consuming more time and resources than are needed.
For the 464 we also include a "foldouts.pdf" with the A3 (11x17") foldout pages from the manual scanned full-size (one piece). A small number (4) of the pages in "foldouts.pdf" were 24"x11" in the original manual and are presented in two 17"x11" ((L) and (R)) pages in "foldouts.pdf". This is intentional, to avoid the displayed page resizing seen in documents that mix page sizes. You'll see that each separate PDF on this CD is entirely A3 or entirely A4, so you won't scroll by a 24x11" page to discover that suddenly and annoyingly your 8.5x11" pages are a third of the screen size they were before displaying the wider page. Please note that the foldout pages are ALSO included as A4 scans (sectioned as 8.5 x 11" pages, in other words) in the main manual.
We send you both both resolutions on the CD. You'll receive the large file, plus the smaller, faster text-searchable version, plus the A3 "foldouts" file. That way, you can navigate, search and etceteras with the fast file and only use the large files when you want to print. There's no need to clutter up your drives with files that are hundreds of megabytes in size, nor any need to spend time writing them to and from the hard drive if you aren't the sort who likes to waste space. Yet the extra-large PDF is still provided for when you need exceptional print quality. All original manual pages are supplied in both resolutions, with no pages added or subtracted.
