A very fine machine tool. Powered with Allen-Bradley CNC controller. This is a professional level routing machine. Heavy castings and beefy ways provide accuracy and long life even at high production rates. Do not confuse this with the cheaply built aluminum routers that are everywhere today. This machine was engineered to run 3 shifts a day. Northwood machines are not the most expensive when new but this is a steal at the price offered here. Included are the support equipment seen in these photos. Was seen to be working right up to the point when it was unplugged and moved. Now located in San Diego, CA. Twin 62" x 62" Moving tables, can operate independently for load/unload on one table while the other is in process or together as one large work area. Each table has (1) vacuum zone machined into the 1-1/2" thick aluminum table. Equipped with: (4) 12 HP COLOMBO wrench type routing spindles with programmable spindle speeds of 7,200 - 18,000 RPM.
• Closed loop AC Servo drive system with precision ground ball screws for 1,000 IPM max. positioning feed rate. The Extra Heavy Duty bridge provides full table coverage for all spindles when both tables are locked together. All axes ride on extra large THK precision contour linear guideways.
• ALLEN-BRADLEY "9" Series computer control system featuring: (4) Linear axes simultaneous control (3 horiz. & 1 vert.), 10" high resolution monitor, RS-232 port, hand held controller, feed rate & spindle speed override; linear, circular and helical interpolation in inch or metric, automatic acceleration & deceleration.
• Complete with: TRAVAINI vacuum pump, dust collector, and original documentation.
