Pami evaluation reports round balers
Evaluations done on a number of round balers by the Prairie Agricultural Machinery Institute. These evaluations include general description, scope of test, rate of work, bale quality, bale weathering, leaf loss, ease of operation, wrapping the twin ease of adjustment, power requirements, operator safety, mechanical history, operator's manual, mechanical problems, recommendations and a response from the manufacturer.
The following round balers are evaluated: Vicon RP 1510 (tested as Cereal Implements 560 round baler); Avco New Idea model 486; New Holland model 850; McKee model 1500; International Harvester 241; Claas Rollant 62; New Holland 849; Hesston 5500 Rounder; Massey Ferguson 560; John Deere model 500; Vermeer 605E; John Deere model 510; Hesston 5800 Rounder; Krone KR180; Hesston 5500 Rounder; Hesston 5400 Rounder; Don 1500 self propelled combine.
Reports are in very good condition.
