The picture of the ratchet is not a little bitty wrench.
The wrench is a 1" Square Drive and it is 24" long.
The channel locks hanging on the magnet are not small either. They are 20" long and the jaws will open up to 8".

Neodymium magnets will never lose any of their strength under ordinary circumstances.
Where the magnet is hangling onto the hook, it is just barely touching the hook, because there is very little hook surface for the magnet to hold onto.
Use one on your oil filter on your car, or equipment.
Oil filters cannot possibly filter out all of the small particles of iron that kekep circulalting thru your engine.
The magnet will catch it, no matter how small the particle of iron is.
If you have a shop with machine tools, put one of these magnets on your drill or lalthe.
Pitch the chuck key up close to the magnet, and the chuck key will still be there waiting for the next time you need. it.
Lay your chuck key on your workbench and I guarantee you will look for it before you can go to work.
If you work on equipment, get a bread pan. Put one of these magnets into the bread pan.
Throw all the small iron parts that you remove from your work project and pitch them into this pan.
They will still be there when you get ready to put your equipment back together again.
If you were to neatly lay the small parts out onto your workbench, some of the parts would invariably be gone when you got ready for them.
