Can this machine seal foil or laminated bags?
Yes, this sealer is designed to seal laminations, such as those used in the coffee industry, as well as Polypropylene. You should not use this machine to seal Polyethylene, as the plastic will stick onto the heated areas.
How big of a bag can I seal on this machine?
In theory you could seal bags as wide as the seal element is. In practice, though, this would mean centering the bag perfectly onto the machine, something that is difficult to do if you need to seal many bags. Take the total heat element width, and subtract 1 inch ( 2.5 cm). That is the approximate width of the biggest bag you should seal on any given model.
What is the sealing temperature of my bags?
Read all machine documentation carefully as it includes important safety information. Plug in and turn on Sealer (if applicable). Set up sealing temperature knob to level one. Put bag in sealer and test. If the bag is not sealed increase sealing temperature to the next level. Wait a minute or two to allow for machine to reach desired temperature. Repeat the process until you get the minimum temperature necessary to seal your bag. The whole process should take no more than a few minutes.

What to do if you receive a damaged item:
If your item arrives damaged refuse to accept it from the currier and contact us immediately. We will send you a replacement item at once.
If you noticed the damage after receipt of the item contact us immediately. We will ask you to photograph the damage and email it to us and ask that you keep all packaging material as well as all parts, documentation, and accessories that came with the machine. You should not attempt to use the machine unless we instruct you to do so.
