Listed for sale is a lot of two specialty cast iron fittings made by Victaulic in new condition.
Multiple lots are available at time of listing.
These VIC-O-WELL Style 924 fittings offer an alternative way to quickly add thermometer or sensor wells to lines without welding. The manufacturer offers two grades of gaskets. These have the EDPM gaskets which identifies them as being used for Hot Water Service. (-30 to +230 Deg F.)
This size is designed for use with 4" to 8" IPS schedule 40 steel pipe. They require a 1.5 " hole to be drilled.
For a 6 inch stem depth. The top of the well is size 1" FPT.
After installation the thermometer stem is seperated from the fluid in the pipe with these wells so it can be removed at any time in the future without draining the system.
