High Power Switch Mode AC to DC - EMS60-1-1-D 60V/10A
The EMS series are high power switch mode AC to DC power supplies for single and three phase input applications where high efficiency, precise regulation and a high degree of packing density and light weight are required.
This series of high frequency switching power supplies is designed to operate as a source of constant current/constant voltage with automatic crossover. All EMS Power Supplies are fully programmable via an analog programming or (optional) RSTL digital interface, allowing for systems integration to meet your specific requirement.
* AC Input 600 Watt models: 115 VAC & 230 VAC . 1kW models: 115VAC . 2kW models: 220 VAC single phase. 2.5kW models: 220 VAC single phase and 208 VAC three phase (user selectable). 5 kW models: 208 VAC three phase. All models 50/60 Hz. . Consult factory for other inputs.
* Efficiency 69% to 85% typical at nominal input line voltage and full load (maximum current and maximum voltage).
* Inrush Current Limiting Input line current during turn-on, turnoff, power interruption, or reapplication is less than that at full load.
* Remote Programming Current Either external DC voltage source or an external DC current source.
* Line Regulation (Current) 0.1% with constant load
* Load Regulation 0.1% of rated output voltage.
* Overvoltage Protection Adjustable from the front panel, is standard on all EMS models. This circuitry will short circuit (crowbar) the power supply's output and turns the control circuitry off if the output voltage reaches the present value.
* Operating Temperature Range For ambient temperatures between 50°C and 70°C the supply's output power is derated by a factor of 1% per 1°C. Units may be safely stored at temperatures of -55° to +85°C.
* Temperature Coefficient Voltage 0.02%/°C of the rated output voltage. Current 0.03%/°C of the rated output current.
* Meters Accuracy: Analog ±2% of full scale. Digital ±2% of full scale.
* Overtemperature Protection Shut down with automatic restart circuit will be activated once safe operating temperature levels are restored.
