Pace MBT 250 Solder, Vacuum De-Solder Station with Hot Air Reflow
Designed for use on Printed Circuit Board Assemblies, (PCBA) with Plated Through Hole (PTH) technology and Surface Mount Technology, (SMT), but great for many other uses -even around the house! This one comes with five (5) attached iron stands and four (4) different irons! (Descriptions below). Three irons can be working simultaneously, with different temperatures! Easily changed out, and ramp up to temperature quickly.
This equipment is used, but in excellent working order. This picture is of the actual power supply and handpieces you will receive. The serial number on the powersupply is: 041304
I powered up this unit again just prior to posting and verified the power supply, all iron heat elements, pump and heating elements on the irons. All are in excellent shape, functioning properly. Temperature is displayed in Fahrenheit or Celsius, and has a switch to toggle between to view and set the temperature on each iron. The red button is depressed, while the knob below it is turned to select the desired temperature. There is a toggle switch in the center, and must be "toggled" toward the knob of the iron for which you want to change the temperature and/or view.
You will notice, there is a place to plug in a foot pedal at the back of the power supply. (Not included) These hand tools are "finger tip" activated. The choice between the two is only a matter of individual preference.
Should you have any problems with any of the hand pieces in the future, you can purchase heating elements which are easily replaced. TIP: Always check connector pins before changing the heater. If the pins are not aligned with the connector properly and forced, pins can be pushed back in the connector causing the heater to "fail". A little caution and/or a simple correction can save you $$!
