Hokuyo robotics communication module
This is a new Hokuyo model DMS-HB1-V optical data transmission module. This is an 8 bit two-way transmission module that allows robots to communicate with docking stations, alignment and interlocking mechanics. This sends out and receives an infrared beam over a 30 degree path for a distance of 1 meter. This is a half duplex, two-way, pulse modulated communication. 10-30 VDC input voltage with very low power consumption for battery powered devices.
