* The Cerberus Pyrotronics’ Thermal Fire Detectors are of the rate compensation/fixed temperature type and are designed for use with standard Cerberus Pyrotronics’ systems.
* The detector element is self-restoring after operation and is rated at 135°F.
* Underwriter’s Laboratories, Inc. recommends the Thermal Detector be used to protect a maximum of 2,500 square feet. Job conditions and engineering judgement, however, often dictate closer spacing to provide faster detection.
* Model DT-135CL is used with Cerberus Pyrotronics’ low voltage systems where it is desirable to provide visual identification of an operated detector by means of an internally mounted incandescent lamp. This model locks in upon alarm, therefore it must be reset at the control panel.
* When connected to Cerberus Pyrotronics control equipment the Model DT-135CL detector is fully compatible with Cerberus Pyrotronics ionization detectors, flame detectors, and manual stations. Electrically, any number of thermal detectors can be used in a circuit. The limit is only subject to the practical considerations of job conditions and engineering judgement.
In addition to operating their own internal alarm indicating lamps, the Model DT-135CL can also operate one remote indicating lamp when desired.
