The stand is designed to hold the cyclone in the vertical position. The cyclone is designed to remove bulk material from an stream of air transporting the material. The material laden air enters at the top edge and spins inside the unit so that the the velocity slows down and the material falls out in the center.
The top air outlet (where the clean air exits) is about 24" diameter. The overall cyclone diameter is about 60" diameter.
There is a valve on the inlet. The inlet diameter is about 8".
The striat top section is about 38" and the tapered section is 87 inches.
The material outlet at the bottom is about 14" diameter.
