This listing is for a vintage Hand held Tachometer for figuring shaft, wheel and pully speeds.
American Schaeffer & Budenberg
the 3 shafts shown in the picture directly accross are for checking RPM on 3 different scales. The first shaft reads up to 500 RPM, the second up to 1000 RPM, the third up to 5000 RPM max.
The Tachometer is in it's original wooden box and has 3 different style attachments for measuring belt, pulley, disk and shaft speeds. Also comes with a 2 5/8" long drive extension. the material covering the box is a little tattered, but the box is in good condition. The hinges, latches and the strap all work perfect.
